Ameesh Paleja the Executive Vice President and Head of Enterprise Platforms Technology at Capital One.

Ameesh leads the Enterprise Platforms Technology organization which includes many of Capital One’s most important enterprise platforms. He oversees enterprise architecture, consumer platforms, and the developer experience. His team plays an essential role in establishing practices for building technology solutions across the company, while also delivering enterprise platform capabilities that exemplify those practices.

Ameesh has more than 20 years’ experience leading technology initiatives and organizations for both startups and large enterprises spanning the technology, media, and entertainment industries. Prior to joining Capital One, he led the efforts on GMail, Chat, Calendar, and Groups for Google. He began his career as a software engineer at Raytheon, NCR, and Microsoft, before joining Amazon where, for more than a decade, he led product and engineering teams within Prime Instant Video, Amazon’s Appstore, Cloud Drive, and Kindle. Ameesh also co-founded Atom Tickets, a movie ticket service startup.

Ameesh is based in Las Vegas and serves as Advisor and Board Member to several for-profit and nonprofit organizations. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of San Diego and holds 26 patents. He is an avid movie buff and enjoys reading and off-roading.
