Zachary Maybury is Chief Technology Officer at DraftKings, overseeing the day-to-day engineering operations that power DraftKings’ Sportsbook, Daily Fantasy, iGaming and Lottery platforms.
Zach has served multiple roles since joining the DraftKings team in 2016, bringing his extensive expertise in cloud-native applications and enterprise software development to each. He initially led web development teams building our Daily Fantasy Sports products before moving to lead the financial operations engineering team. Later, Zach transitioned to lead many product engineering teams, working his way up to several Vice President roles. Since then, he has been the driving force behind Global Site Reliability Engineering and has led consumer engineering teams across Daily Fantasy Sports and Casino.
Prior to DraftKings, Zachary worked with several startup ventures in the visual analytics, machine learning, and computer vision fields. He also spent seven years building next generation image recognition and computer vision technology at Pixel Forensics.
Zachary earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
