Yufei Gu is a Senior Software Engineer on Snowflake’s Open Source Data Lake Storage team, where he steers the development of Apache Polaris — the REST catalog that now unifies Iceberg and Delta Lake workflows. A longtime open source advocate, Yufei sits on the Project Management Committees for both Apache Iceberg and Apache Hadoop, and is an Apache Iceberg PMC member.
