Veronika Durgin has spent more than 20 years in data, from wrangling cranky databases to shaping enterprise strategies built on solid data foundations. She has built and led full-stack data teams across industries, covering the entire lifecycle: database administration, platform and data engineering, analytics and enablement.
Her approach is simple: Real business impact comes from getting the fundamentals right. Too many companies chase the next big thing while their data quality, governance and models quietly erode. Veronika focuses on building systems that last, including resilient, scalable pipelines, clear definitions, reliable platforms and products teams can actually maintain. This foundation is also what makes meaningful AI possible, not just experimental.
At heart, she is a data engineering leader who loves solving tough problems and turning complexity into something elegant and usable. She believes data is a team sport, and the best results happen when engineers, analysts and business partners work together without friction. She is committed to mentoring the next generation and creating cultures where innovation is both encouraged and grounded in reality.
