Jennifer Chronis
Jennifer Chronis is Vice President of US Public Sector Sales at Snowflake. She is a seasoned IT executive with over 25 years of industry experience, including executive roles at VMware/Broadcom, Verizon, Amazon Web Services and IBM. She is also a two-time Wash100 Award winner and a two-time FedScoop 50 winner.
As VP of US Public Sector at Snowflake, Jennifer is responsible for unlocking the power of AI in government and enabling secure data collaboration across agencies and partners –for all government sales, including federal, state, local, and education.
Previously, Jennifer was the Vice President for US Federal at Broadcom, where she had responsibility for all of Broadcom Software Group’s business with the Federal government. She joined Broadcom through the acquisition of VMware where she led the Public Sector business, including Federal, State, Local and Education. Prior to VMware, she led both the Public Sector and Federal teams at Verizon, spent 4 years at AWS as the AWS General Manager for DoD, and 15 years at IBM.
Jennifer also served for 21 years as a US Army officer. She spent 11 years on active duty performing during combat operations in Desert Shield/Storm in Saudi Arabia and Iraq and Enduring Freedom in Bosnia. Under the US Army Reserve, she was mobilized from 2004-2006 as the Director of Resources for the Joint IED Defeat Organization. She retired from the US Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2010.
Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. She is an American Council for Technology – Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) IT Fellow and served on the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Technology Council, the USO Metro, and the Washington DC Chapter of AFCEA. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Business Analytics at the University of Virginia.
