Any company is content driven, especially in a digital first world as we are living in, that content is growing and growing and growing that can be considered by customers as content chaos. That is where we come in. You can make sure that you have that content chaos under control.
Bynder is a data asset management company. We have portals in which customers can store their marketing assets. It's also then a host for those files if you want to embed them elsewhere in the internet.
Our platform is being used by over 4000 customers on a quarterly basis. We are close to 20 million assets being uploaded in the platform. We are distributing close to 60 billion assets per quarter for our customers.
Before Snowflake, we were in the dark ages. We had customers complain this is too slow. We had concerns when it comes to scalability of performance or stability of the platform.
We have three main data teams at Bynder, and they would siloed in their own areas. They just worked on their own data. You would ask three data teams one question, and you get three different answers. Having introduced Snowflake, we now have a single source of truth. We're now completely consistent. You ask one question, you get the same answer from three different teams. We have some data that we previously couldn't show, so that's CDN data. The assets we host are embedded for our customers. When they're embedded, but hosted on binder, we're able to see how many people are seeing them. For some clients, this volume is absolutely enormous, 9 billion rows, 250 gigabytes. We couldn't work with that volume of data with Snowflake. We now can.
We saw a cost reduction of 60% compared to our previous data platform solution, we saw a productivity increase of the data platform team of almost 50% on our production services. We saw that the data ingestion was four times as fast, but also the data delivery to our customers was twice as fast as we saw with our previous platform.
It doesn't matter how much data we throw at it, Snowflake just keeps scaling. It's quite impressive. Our customers need the data, and Snowflake is where the data is.
The better they use our product, the better it is for them, the better it is for us. And really, Snowflake has opened the way to be able to do that.
