ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNANCE AT SNOWFLAKE
Snowflake’s mission is to enable every organization to mobilize its data with Snowflake’s Data Cloud. In carrying out this mission, we take our role as stewards of our investors’ capital seriously. Environmental
We work to minimize our own environmental footprint, but for Snowflake, that’s not enough. Snowflake’s core architecture processes data more efficiently than legacy solutions, which helps reduce the carbon impact.

ENVIRONMENTAL
Snowflake is focused on minimizing our environmental footprint. Many of our offices are equipped with energy saving technology and we target office locations accessible by public transportation. We have a food waste reduction program and donate edible food to local organizations in need. We have a recycling and composting program, energy efficient appliances, and water saving fixtures. Finally, we are reducing business travel by scheduling more virtual meetings and events.
SOCIAL
We foster a culture of inclusion across a workforce that is diverse in many ways, including race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, ability, identity, and experience. Combined with our performance-based culture of individual accountability, we believe this will fuel innovation, encourage authenticity, and serve our customers as we enable every organization to become data-driven. Our goal is always to bring people together rather than apart and encourage grassroots initiatives. We offer a variety of employee training, including skills training, management training, and diversity training. We also care about the community outside Snowflake, and are building relationships with nonprofits and educational institutions that invest in building career skills and opportunities for under-represented groups.
