Over the last 5yrs, she has built the portfolio on MECC in the East, Horn and Southern Africa sub-regions and in particular, led the process that resulted in the first regional, member-state led policy framework on Migration, Environment and Climate Change- The Kampala Ministerial Declaration Migration, Environment and Climate Change in 2022 and its subsequent expansion to the African continent in 2023. Lisa holds a Masters Degree in Climate Change and Development and has over 20yrs working experience across both humanitarian and development sectors in different regions of Africa and East Asia.
