In this “Data Cloud Now” interview, Accenture's ASG Data & AI Delivery Lead Nikhil Rajagopalan shares his thoughts about the notable trends in manufacturing that he’s seeing as he wanders the show floor at Hannover Messe in Germany. At the top of the list, he says, is a desire on the part of manufacturers to move away from a B2B model and toward a B2C model, where they can provide a personalized, Amazon-like experience to consumers. This move toward industrial consumerism, he says, is a change that will be significantly facilitated by Snowflake’s Manufacturing Data Cloud, given its ability to bring together all the data that’s needed to collaborate with partners and provide a deep understanding of consumer needs and expectations.
