Learning the Basics

Learn the essentials of Snowflake and data warehousing in this pre-conference classroom training. Pass the test to earn a badge of completion.

Essentials Training begins with the most basic tasks such as logging in – switching user role, and navigating within the WebUI – and moves quickly to creating databases, warehouses, file formats and other objects. Training will be very hands-on with short system demonstrations, hands-on practice questions, interface simulations and exercises carried out in a live Snowflake account. We recommend this course as a first step toward an end-to-end, beginner-to-expert selection of offerings.

The training is geared to those who are new to data warehousing or Snowflake, and will provide you with the skill set you need to participate in other labs provided throughout the Summit. Attendees can utilize this class to start their journey to become a Snowflake expert!
