The world runs on Siemens. Our devices and our products you'll find in many aspects of your daily life.
Siemens was founded in eighteen hundred forty seven, and we shaped and helped to transform many of the industrial revolutions of the past. Combining the digital and physical world will be the driving force for the fourth industrial revolution, digitalization.
Siemens plays a key role because our devices steer and control what's happening on the shop floor, and we will bring that in the digital world for our customers to be able to simulate and automate before it's actually built.
The Siemens Data Cloud is an open data mesh platform ecosystem, which has been built, the last two years to be able to become a data driven company and to work with data and AI in a seamless way. We are ingesting data from more than forty five different ERP systems. We have more than one thousand projects with more than six thousand users on the platform and more than ten million queries running per day.
After the pandemics, a global supply chain crisis materialized, and Siemens showed an incredible resilience. With the help of Snowflake, we were able to analyze our own data and also the incoming data of our suppliers to keep our factories up and running and help our customers to be able to keep manufacturing up.
The Siemens Saylor Cloud is a data and AI platform ecosystem.
Snowflake makes it much easier than before. Data sharing with Snowflake helps us to easily use the capabilities to share data with zero ETL with customers or partners.
A big benefit within Snowflake is ease of use. It helps us to democratize access to data to our employees within Siemens.
For us, Snowflake is an end to end data platform. We are leveraging all the different capabilities, the support of unstructured and semi structured data, new capabilities like the container service to run and deploy apps, and also functionalities like generative AI or also new features like Snowflake Cortex.
If Siemens was the was Siemens wise, translated into English something like, if Siemens knew what Siemens knows, is something that describes the vast amount of knowledge we have in the different sectors of our company. And to unlock that knowledge and make that available for our customers, for our products, is one of our missions that we're gonna achieve together with Snowflake.
