Globe Telecom Inc. Is a leading digital solutions provider with major interests in Dell Communications, shared services, venture capital, and venture building, as well as digital marketing solutions. There are about seventy five hundred employees, across globe, and we serve around fifty seven million mobile customers, one point eight million broadband customers, and around eight hundred thousand landline customers. Globe's mission is to uplift the lives of an inos every day.
As a data driven organization, everyone in Globe lives and breathes data. The Globe data team is around two hundred people. Since Globe is quite a huge organization, we need a platform that would allow us to collaborate across the different teams in a highly secured manner. One of our considerations in choosing Snowflake is its ability to scale up and down, while at the same time being cost efficient, at the same time allowing us to collaborate across different teams.
Snowflake has allowed us to migrate our data from on premise to the cloud in three three to four months. It has enabled us to improve our analytics delivery value chain through integrated data engineering, improved query performance, as well as data collaboration. Working with Snowflake really improves our efficiency.
It allowed us to, improve our queries, integrate our pipelines, as well as, do a lot more, within the platform. We're really excited, and looking forward to, doing more use cases, especially in the generative AI space.
