Ray Zhang
Ray Zhang works as the Director of Machine Learning Engineering at Fidelity Investments, where he also serves as the ML Engineering Practice Lead at the Fidelity Institutional AI Center of Excellence. In his role, Ray collaborates closely with Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to create AI solutions using data science and infrastructure to streamline innovation. He has a great passion for programming and his recent work is the development of Arbores, which facilitates exploration of tree-based models with parallel training and tuning based on users’ custom configuration. Before he joined Fidelity, Ray worked as a Principal Engineer at IONA Technology, where he was involved in developing distributed software Orbix2000 and Artix.
