In June 2018, AT&T acquired Time Warner in a strategic move to bring its video, mobile, and broadband customer relationships together with Time Warner’s global media and entertainment brands, which included Warner Brothers, HBO, and Turner Broadcasting. These three brands, which now operate as WarnerMedia, share a collective goal to consolidate consumer data and make customer experiences more rewarding through content personalization and targeted marketing and advertising.
