Shrainik Jain is a Staff Software Engineer at Snowflake working on the SQL compiler and query optimizer, with a focus on query planning, workload-aware optimization and performance engineering for large-scale workloads. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington, where his research centered on SQL workload analytics and query optimization.
