Snowflake Continues Global Data Cloud Expansion with Entry into the Korean Market, Names HyoungJun Kang as Country Manager

Seoul, Korea – November 10, 2021 – Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW), the Data Cloud company, today announced the opening of a new office in Seoul, Korea, to help organizations get more value from their data and further expand the reach of the Data Cloud globally. The company also announced HyoungJun Kang as the Country Manager responsible for driving Data Cloud adoption in the region and supporting Korean customers on their journey to becoming more data-driven. In addition to Korea, Snowflake operates across the APJ region with offices in Australia, India, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and Southeast Asia. The expansion to the Korean market showcases Snowflake’s ongoing commitment to empowering Korean customers with data.

HyoungJun has extensive experience in the data and analytics industry having previously held executive positions at Cloudera, Hortonworks and Teradata.
