Paris, July 2, 2026 – Snowflake, the AI Data Cloud company, today announced the opening of its new French headquarters in central Paris, to support the continued growth of Snowflake in France, and equip customers to maximise business outcomes and value from their AI and data investments. This new milestone marks an important step in the company's development across Europe, reflecting its long-term commitment to the French market and supporting wider global momentum.
Located at 44 Rue de Châteaudun in Paris's 9th arrondissement, near the Opéra Garnier, Snowflake's new French headquarters are the first in France to be specifically designed to reflect the company's identity, culture, and values. Spanning 2,700 square meters, the offices include collaborative workspaces, meeting rooms, and dedicated areas for customer and partner engagement. They will support Snowflake's continued growth in France and provide a venue for customer events, technical workshops, training sessions, and ecosystem initiatives focused on data and AI, at a time when French organizations are increasingly looking to scale AI use cases and bring new capabilities into production.
The opening of Snowflake's French headquarters comes as the French data and AI ecosystem continues to gain momentum, driven by innovative startups, growing enterprise investment, world-class research capabilities, and the country's ability to attract technology talent, reinforcing France's position as one of Europe's leading innovation hubs.
"France has tremendous strengths in data and AI, and we want to contribute to this momentum by remaining as close as possible to the people and organizations driving it," said Arnaud Chiffert, Country Manager, France at Snowflake. "These new offices represent much more than a new workplace. They reflect Snowflake's identity and our ambition to create a space where employees, customers, partners, and members of the broader ecosystem can meet, exchange ideas, and innovate together."

Today, eight of France's leading healthcare and life sciences organizations already rely on Snowflake as part of their data strategy.
New Office Supports Global Growth Momentum
The opening comes amid strong global momentum for Snowflake, following the announcement of its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, ended April 30, 2026. Snowflake also continues to see strong adoption of its AI capabilities, with more than 13,600 customer accounts globally using Snowflake AI features every week.
As Snowflake approaches nine years of operations in France, the company continues to support the growing adoption of data and AI initiatives among French organizations. Reflecting the strategic importance of the French market, Snowflake has grown its local team from just three employees in 2017 to around 175 today.
Founded in 2012 by two French co-founders, Benoît Dageville and Thierry Cruanes, whose innovations helped transform how organizations manage and derive value from data, Snowflake has become a leading global data and AI company. With AI fundamentally reshaping how work gets done, Snowflake is right at the center of that transformation. The opening of its new Paris headquarters further strengthens the company's commitment to supporting the organizations and innovators shaping the future of artificial intelligence in France and across Europe.
