We work as an ecommerce enablement platform. Through our innovative, suite of products, we are on a journey to democratize e-commerce in India. In order to run that business in a seamless fashion, assimilate that data, consume it, run your insights on it, push those insights back into your systems so that your workflows are seamlessly executed. If I talk about our earlier data warehouse, it was fulfilling our job, but it was more of a reporting framework.
The other thing was because our data size was increasing. So maintaining and scaling of that infrastructure, the onus was on us. But it was a very different skill set which was required. You have to ensure that that data is secure with the best practices, and it evolves over time.
So we shortlisted some solutions. We laid down the entry and exit criterias for our POC for them. What we noticed about different solutions is, for Snowflake, apples to apples cost was less than what I I was spending on my original solution.
In terms of performance, I noticed my critical and time consuming processes, which used to run for a couple of hours, I was able to complete it within a span of few minutes.
The additional thing, what we were able to unlock, is now we have a capability to have access to data and insights at varying degrees of freshness. Due to this flexibility, I am able to now tie it to the business goals. So the business has increased by three hundred percent.So that is a huge, quantum, jump in terms of the overall capability which we acquired.
Snowflake has given us the flexibility to think and ideate about our data needs. So I have moved one step ahead. So it saves time, it saves manual intervention. So it's a, win win situation for us.
A customer feels empowered if you reduce friction in his or her life. So a friction can be caused, because of multiple factors. The service delivery, what we have promised, we are able to fulfill that. Now that predictability has come in the lives of our customers. So, hence, they feel empowered.
If Shiprocket can truly act as a partner to them, to not assist, but enable their, business, that that is the journey on which, we have embarked on. One thing I'm pretty sure the kind of product offerings which we have planned where, Snowflake, has the capability to get into delivering such stuff, in times to come, it will have an even larger impact.
