Thong Nguyen
Thong Nguyen is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Snowflake, where he focuses on reinforcement learning, reasoning, and the post-training platform for large language models. He has extensive experience in LLMs, statistical data analysis, and large-scale scientific computing, with work spanning particle physics discovery to AI productivity tools. He is a member of the World Economic Forum's Expert Network and the European Cooperation in Science and Technology. Thong received his PhD in particle physics from Caltech and previously worked at Microsoft, Google X, CERN, University of Tokyo and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
