He has spent the last 25 years building up mixed teams of data scientists and software engineers to solve complex problems in distributed systems design, cloud computing, web search, online maps and data center and server infrastructure strategy. Murray has run large-scale infrastructure efficiency programs to reduce spending and carbon emissions at some of the world’s largest technology companies. Murray has also been a champion of open source throughout his career.
