Hany Farag
Hany Farag is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and security engineering. Hany is currently a Director of Engineering at Snowflake and leads the Security Foundation organization responsible for product, application, cloud, infrastructure, offensive and enterprise security. His role spans people leadership and technical direction, overseeing and driving the development of Snowflake's security engineering capabilities and defending Snowflake's products, infrastructure and customers.
Prior to Snowflake, Hany held key roles at Google as a Director of Engineering, leading the Infrastructure Security organization, and at Microsoft, leading teams in Windows and Xbox security. This deep background in engineering leadership, security and software design reflects a strong track record of driving technical innovation and leading high-performing development teams at scale.
