Tyler Jones is a Software Engineer at Snowflake. As a member of the Data Platform team, he works on developing and enhancing a variety of key Snowflake features, many of which are in the security space. Prior to joining Snowflake, Tyler worked for several startups, including MemSQL and Optimizely, in the big data and analytics space. A native of Pennsylvania, Tyler grew up in the greater Philadelphia area where he earned a BS in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary and a Masters in Computer Science from the Pennsylvania State University. Tyler now lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.
