In this session you’ll learn how Echo, a global manufacturer of outdoor power equipment, is using Snowflake to power their executive dashboards and finding rich insights in their data. Following that presentation, Aptitive will lead an ETL Lab on Snowflake stored procedures, ADF, and Azure Functions.

Bring your laptops and have access to your snowflake accounts, and we will walk through the exercise together.

Learn how Echo Incorporated, a global manufacturer of outdoor power equipment, is using Snowflake ingest data from disparate source systems into a modeled enterprise-wide data warehouse. In this session, Aarthi Ramesh, Business Intelligence Manager at Echo, will go over how Snowflake:

  • Simplified the pains of a traditional on-prem data warehouse
  • Reduced time spent manually creating reports
  • Power POS and Account Manager Incentives dashboards

5:15 PM – Snowflake Lab – ETL using Snowflake stored procedures, ADF, and Azure Functions

Learn how Aptitive builds custom ETL processing in Snowflake and Azure. In this lab, Melanie Ruiz, Managing Consultant at Aptitive, will walkthrough:
Azure Data Factory pipeline
Azure Functions written in C#
Snowflake stored procedures to extract data from a raw layer, load into a stage table, and merge into target.
