Adrien Treuille

Adrien is a co-founder and CEO of Streamlit (acquired by Snowflake), which pioneered next-generation tools for data scientists. Dr. Treuille has been a Zoox VP, Google X project lead, and Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon. He gives talks around the world, including to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, and has won numerous scientific awards, including the MIT TR35. Adrien and his work have been featured in the documentaries “What Will the Future Be Like” by PBS/NOVA, and “Lo and Behold” by Werner Herzog.

Allison Lee

Sr. Director, Engineering

Allison joined Snowflake in 2013 as part of the founding engineering team and led the development of the query optimizer. She now heads Snowflake's Database engineering team, which owns the core query processing capabilities of Snowflake, including query optimization, query execution, and our internal data file format. Before Snowflake, she was at Oracle, where she worked on the query optimizer for the Oracle RDBMS. During her time at Oracle, Allison was focused on bridging the gap between query optimization and execution through adaptive query optimization. Allison holds dozens of patents related to database query processing. She received Bachelors and Masters degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Benoit Dageville

Benoit co-founded Snowflake and currently serves as President of the Product division. Benoit is a leading expert in parallel execution and self-tuning database systems. Prior to founding Snowflake, Benoit was with Oracle for over 10 years as a lead architect for parallel execution in Oracle RAC and a key architect in the SQL Manageability group. Prior to Oracle, Benoit worked at Bull Information Systems. He helped define the architecture and lead database performance efforts for Bull’s parallel systems. Benoit has a PhD in Computer Science with a focus in Parallel Database Systems and is a named inventor on more than 80 patents.

Felipe Hoffa

Felipe has been Snowflake's Data Cloud Advocate since August 2020. In 2011, he moved from Chile to San Francisco to join Google as a Software Engineer. In 2013, while still at Google, he became a Developer Advocate on Data Analytics. His goal is to inspire developers around the world to analyze and understand their data in ways they never could before. You can hear from him in several YouTube videos, blog posts, and conferences around the world.

Katrina Riehl

Katrina is currently the Head of the Streamlit Data Team at Snowflake, a leading provider of cloud-based data solutions. She is also a member of the NumFOCUS Board of Directors, serving as President. For almost twenty years, Katrina has worked extensively in the fields of scientific computing, machine learning, data mining, and visualization. Most notably, she has helped lead data science efforts at the UT Austin Applied Research Laboratory, Apple, Continuum Analytics (now, Anaconda), HomeAway (now, Vrbo), and Cloudflare. Katrina received her MS and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Kin is the Chief Evangelist for Postman, and has been writing about the API lifecycle for over a decade as the API Evangelist. Working with companies, organizations, institutions, and government agencies to define the API lifecycles that have emerged across almost every aspect of our personal and professional lives. Kin works to evangelize and move forward OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and JSON as part of Postman Open Technologies, acknowledging the critical role these API specifications are playing in our lives.

Marie Coolsaet

Senior Data Scientist

Marie Coolsaet is a data scientist on the frostbyte team at Snowflake. In her role, she builds out demos to showcase how Snowflake adds value to the end-to-end data science story. Previously, Marie worked as a sales engineer in the data science software space. She draws on that experience when creating assets for Snowflake sales engineers.

Peter Wang

CEO and Co-Founder

Peter is the CEO and Co-Founder of Anaconda. Prior to founding Anaconda (formerly Continuum Analytics), Peter spent 15 years in software design and development across a broad range of areas, including 3D graphics, geophysics, large data simulation and visualization, financial risk modeling, and medical imaging. As a creator of the PyData community and conferences, he devotes time and energy to growing the Python data science community and advocating for increasing data literacy around the world. Peter holds a B.A. in physics from Cornell University.

Ryan Blue

Ryan Blue is the co-creator of Apache Iceberg and CEO of Tabular. He has worked for the past decade on data infrastructure projects, including Parquet, Avro, and Spark, for Netflix, Cloudera, and the US Government. He is a member of the Apache Software Foundation.

Sonya Huang

Sequoia

Sonya is a General Partner at Sequoia with a focus on data, infrastructure, software, and FinTech investments. She led or co-led Sequoia's investments in companies including Streamlit, dbt, Census, Cribl, Tecton, Amplitude, and Gong. Prior to joining Sequoia in 2018, Sonya worked at TPG Capital and Goldman Sachs. Sonya received a B.A. in economics summa cum laude from Princeton University.

Sri Chintala

Sri is a Product Manager on the data platform team at Snowflake, where she focuses on building extensible data pipelines. Prior to Snowflake, Sri worked at Microsoft for four and a half years building various Microsoft Azure Data services. Sri is passionate about data engineering and loves to explore how modern data management can enable businesses to unlock new use cases and scenarios. She has a master's degree in computer science from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from K L University.

Stefan Williams

VP, Corporate Development

Stefan heads up the corporate development function at Snowflake which includes both M&A and Snowflake ventures. Since joining the company, Williams has spearheaded multiple acquisitions and strategic investments that have accelerated internal efforts, enabled partners, and delivered value for Snowflake customers.

Williams joined Snowflake at the end of 2019 to head up the corporate development function. Prior to joining Snowflake, Williams was part of the corporate development and corporate venture capital team at Servicenow where he operated in a similar role. He has also previously worked at Genesys, Martinwolf M&A advisors and Towers Watson.

Shivani Stumpf

Ms. Stumpf is an innovative leaders and an executive with over two decades of experience leading product, technology, and business strategy for SaaS companies. Stumpf has directed successful growth initiatives using data as an asset to drive business transformations. Ms. Stumpf is currently Group Vice President at PowerSchool, the leading provider of a K-12 cloud-based solutions to maximize student outcomes for over 45 million students. Stumpf is responsible for the company's data strategy, building new innovations to expand the company's total addressable market. In her current role, Stumpf launched K-12's first Data-as-a-Service platform to forge equitable pathways and social mobility for all learners. Prior to that, Stumpf was Vice President of Analytics at PowerSchool, following the acquision of Hoonuit, a K13 Edtech Analytics business where Stumpf led the company's product, and technology strategy as Chief Technology Officer.

Tomasz Tunguz

Tomasz Tunguz is a partner with Redpoint Ventures. He was previously the product manager for Google's social media monetization team, including the Google-MySpace partnership, and managed the launches of AdSense into six new markets in Europe and Asia. Before Google, Tunguz developed systems for the Department of Homeland Security at Appian Corporation.

Unmesh Jagtap

Unmesh Jagtap is a Principal Product Manager at Snowflake where he focuses on Applications. Prior to Snowflake, Unmesh was a Director of Engineering at Twitter, where he led its real-time infrastructure group including storage, caching, pub-sub and streaming compute solutions. Prior to that he worked at Oracle's Parallel Execution group where he contributed to adaptive distribution methods, making parallel execution infrastructure NUMA aware and other SQL execution features such as small table replication. Unmesh is a graduate of Wharton Business School and Cornell University, and is an inventor on numerous patents at Snowflake and Oracle.

Willem Pienaar

Engineering Manager
Tecton

Willem is an Engineering Manager at Tecton where he is involved in the development of both the Tecton enterprise feature store as well as the development of the Feast open-source project, which he created. Willem previously founded and led the Data Science Platform team at Gojek where he helped build the ride-hailing company's ML systems and platform, ultimately serving hundreds of millions of orders a month through ML models. His main focus areas are building ML platforms and tooling, allowing organizations to scale machine learning and drive decision-making. In a previous life, Willem founded and sold a networking startup and worked in industrial control systems.
