About Mike Love & his Pandemic Pivot:
Mike Love is a decade long business owner of bartending school, the Professional Bartending Academy, in Richmond, VA. Mike was forced to think creatively and quickly at the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic. Through his experience of teaching and entrepreneurship, Mike quickly pivoted towards e-commerce and a virtual platform to create Bar Chef Cocktail Kits. As of July 30th, Bar Chef Cocktail Kits launched into a live business where Mike and his team are currently packaging and shipping cocktail kits, paired with a virtual happy hour to entertain and educate others on cocktail history and visual guidance to make fresh cocktails with his team of bartenders. As Mike’s business continues to grow, his passion to have fun and teach others how to make good cocktails remains the same and he hopes you can join him for a cocktail or two on December 3rd.
