Sunny Bedi serves as the Chief Information & Data Officer at Snowflake. Prior to joining Snowflake, Sunny held Corporate IT and Operations leadership roles at Nvidia from 2008-2020 as they scaled from less than 2,000 employees to 15,000. Previously, Sunny has held leadership roles at VMWARE, JDSU, Deloitte Consulting and Andersen Consulting. He holds a BS and MBA from University of San Francisco, and Executive Education in Leadership and Technology from Stanford University.

As Senior Vice President of Global Sales Engineering, Eve and her team are focused on providing current and prospective customers with technical expertise and best practice recommendations about Snowflake and our technology ecosystem as well as providing customer requirements back to our product team for innovation. Prior to joining Snowflake in 2018, Eve worked at SAP for 11 years as a Solution Engineer and in a variety of Presales leadership roles in finance, supply chain, and order management across a number of industries. She began her career in consulting, where she worked with customers implementing SAP systems for large companies in the Federal and Defense Industries. Eve holds a bachelor’s from Williams College and lives near Washington DC.

Chris joined Snowflake in 2018 and currently leads a team of product managers (PMs) building Snowflake’s customer-facing data platform, experiences, and applications. Their work helps Snowflake’s customers get more value from their data faster than ever before. Prior to Snowflake, Chris worked as a product leader and investor with many Silicon Valley startup companies that were built on the idea that unlocking data can transform industries. Most recently, he led product and design for a customer data platform company called Segment. Chris holds an SB in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Stanford University.

Todd has spent 30 years in Healthcare, in roles from Pharmacy Technician to CIO of a healthcare software firm. He has witnessed the benefits of Snowflake’s cloud-native architecture first-hand in a healthcare environment having implemented Snowflake in 2016.  Securely storing billions of records and democratizing that data to bring analytics to the point of care with no capital purchase (pay as you go), scalability on demand, 10-100x performance, and no database maintenance is a concept that is resonating across healthcare.

Prior to joining Snowflake, Matt led the development of business-critical analytics platforms at Goldman Sachs for over 20 years. As managing director, he was responsible for the entire data platform of Goldman’s 1 trillion asset management business. Matt also co-led Goldman’s risk management platform where his team built the first company-wide data warehouse that helped navigate the 2008 financial crisis.

In 2015, Matt joined Snowflake to run Product Management and then went on to launch the Snowflake Data Marketplace. Today, Matt leads the financial services business globally where he is driving customer and product strategy for one of Snowflake’s most important industry verticals.

Rosemary leads Retail & CPG Go-To-Market for Snowflake, where she collaborates with teams across product, sales, marketing, partnerships, and more to build industry solutions to drive Snowflake’s product capabilities to market. Rosemary joined Snowflake in 2020 from Walmart’s Global Data team. Prior to Walmart, she worked for Amazon in their Transactions organization, focused on business analytics alongside the machine learning team. Rosemary was an early employee at Numerator (previously InfoScout) which is now a retail data provider partnering with Snowflake today. Rosemary has her BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and her BS from their Haas School of Business.

Prasanna leads product management for data sharing in the Snowflake Data Marketplace. The Data Marketplace enables businesses to seamlessly discover, use, and share all of the data and knowledge that they need to drive insights and answer business questions instantly. Prior to joining Snowflake in 2018, Prasanna built new products at companies such as Microsoft and Comcast. She also worked at venture-backed startups, including SmartyPal which she founded and led. Prasanna has her MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jon serves as president of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at Snowflake. Prior to joining the company, he worked for VMWare in the APAC region for the last 14 years where he most recently served as president of VMWare Japan K.K. Jon’s responsibilities included all aspects of the virtualization, digital workplace, and cloud business in Japan. Throughout his long tenure at VMWare, Jon was involved in strategic planning, business development, and client engagement, playing an instrumental role in growing the business to its current status as a multi-billion dollar leader in the cloud market. Prior to VMWare, Jon held senior positions in sales and field management at EMC, SAP, and M3i in the Japan and APJ markets. He is fluent in Japanese, French, and English and holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Kyle is one of the earliest employees of Snowflake (pre-website and pre-customer) who helped define Snowflake’s business model and created the GTM function for the Western United States. Today as VP – Global Platform Strategy, he works directly with Snowflake’s executive team and our largest customers to create a mutual vision of Snowflake’s future. His team’s primary focus is on the Data Cloud Network, AI/ML, Data Applications and Security Data Lakes. Previous to Snowflake he held a variety of leadership roles at Aveksa, NetApp, and EMC. Kyle is a graduate of the University of Colorado.

Tal Shaked is Snowflake’s Machine Learning (ML) Architect. Prior to Snowflake, Tal spent 16 years at Google, culminating in the role of Distinguished Engineer / Senior Director. He was responsible for a broad set of ML projects such as TensorFlow Extended and Sibyl — two of the most widely deployed ML platforms at Google, and specific applications of ML for Google Ads and Google Search. Tal completed his BS in Computer Science at the University of Arizona and his MS in Computer Science at the University of Washington. Tal is also a chess grandmaster and won the World Junior Chess Championship in 1997.

Omer brings over 17 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity to his role as Head of Cyber Security Industry at Snowflake. Prior to Snowflake, Omer was Vice President of Security Operations at a global security services provider and served as an officer in the prestigious IDF Intelligence Corps 8200 Unit. Omer frequently speaks at cloud security forums on the movement towards High Fidelity Security Analytics (HiFiSec) and is passionate about tackling long-standing cybersecurity challenges through innovation.

Frank Slootman currently serves as Chairman and CEO at Snowflake. Frank has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and executive in the enterprise software industry. Mr. Slootman served as CEO and President of ServiceNow from 2011 to 2017, taking the organization from around $100M in revenue, through an IPO, to $1.4B. Prior to that, Frank served as President of the Backup Recovery Systems Division at EMC following an acquisition of Data Domain Corporation/Data Domain, Inc., where he served as the Chief Executive Officer and President, leading the company through an IPO to its acquisition by EMC for $2.4B. Slootman holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from the Netherlands School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Bill Stratton is a senior level executive with over 25 years of experience in television, digital media, data, advanced advertising and marketing optimization.  Most recently, Bill was Senior Vice President of Consumer Data & Analytics at Turner, where he led a team responsible for monetizing and optimizing data in news, sports and entertainment. Bill worked across brands such as CNN, TNT, TBS, Turner Sports, NBA, Adult Swim & Bleacher Report. In addition, Bill held leadership positions at Turner in business development, content distribution and startup investment/M&A. Bill has been an investor, entrepreneur, board advisor and media consultant in the areas of identity resolution, consumer data strategy, operations, addressable advertising and data monetization. A collegiate swimmer at the University of North Carolina, Bill started his career as a sports agent before moving over to the television sports division at Turner.

Alison serves as the GVP of EMEA at Snowflake, where she is focused on building the team and strategy to accelerate Snowflake’s hyper-growth in the region. Alison has 20 years of experience as a sales leader in the software and enterprise applications industry, spanning start-ups like AppDynamics to enterprise companies like IBM, HP, and Oracle. She has sold into hundreds of new accounts, developed sales growth strategies, and led major teams of salespeople. Alison has a criminal justice degree from Washington State University.

Michael Scarpelli serves as Chief Finance Officer at Snowflake. Prior to joining Snowflake, Mike served as CFO at ServiceNow from 2011-2019. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Operations of the Backup Recovery Systems Division at EMC from July 2009 to August 2011, after EMC acquired Data Domain where he served as CFO for three years. Scarpelli holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario.

Grzegorz (Greg) Czajkowski, a distributed systems and organizations scaling expert, is Senior Vice President of Engineering and Support at Snowflake. Prior to Snowflake, Greg spent 13 years at Google, where he was VP of Engineering responsible for a broad portfolio of Google Cloud data analytics and machine learning products and for internal services addressing data analytics needs of all of Google’s businesses. Before Google, Greg spent six years at Sun Microsystems, working on Java runtime environments and operating systems. Greg has a PhD in Computer Science from Cornell University, an MBA from UC Berkeley, and an undergraduate degree from AGH Krakow, Poland. He holds over 50 patents.

Benoit co-founded Snowflake and currently serves as President of the Product division. Benoit is a leading expert in parallel execution and self-tuning database systems. Prior to founding Snowflake, Benoit was with Oracle for 15 years as a lead architect for parallel execution in Oracle RAC and a key architect in the SQL Manageability group. Prior to Oracle, Benoit worked at Bull Information Systems. He helped define the architecture and lead database performance efforts for Bull’s parallel systems. Benoit has a PhD in Computer Science with a focus in Parallel Database Systems and holds more than 80 patents.

Denise has 20 years of technology marketing experience at high-growth companies. Prior to joining Snowflake, she served as CMO for Apigee, an API platform company that went public in 2015 and Google acquired in 2016. She began her career at collaboration software company Genesys, where she built and led a global marketing organization. Denise also helped lead Genesys through its expansion to become a successful IPO and acquired company. Denise holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University, and holds an MBA from Georgetown University.

Chris has over 15 years of enterprise technology sales experience. Most recently, Chris served as the Vice President of the Western Region at Aveksa, where he helped grow the business 250% year-over-year. Before Aveksa, Chris spent eight years at EMC and managed a team responsible for 175 select accounts. Prior to EMC, Chris worked in enterprise sales at Informatica and Covalent Technologies (acquired by VMware). He holds a BA from the University of Delaware.

Christian Kleinerman is a database expert with over 20 years of experience working with various database technologies. He has more than 15 years of management and leadership experience. At Microsoft, he served as General Manager of the Data Warehousing product unit where he was responsible for a broad portfolio of products. Most recently, Christian worked at Google leading YouTube’s infrastructure and data systems. Christian earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Los Andes University, and he currently holds more than 10 patents in database technologies.
