Snowflake와 Streamlit의 만남으로 확장된 데이터 앱의 새로운 가능성, 이제 여러분의 손에서 펼쳐집니다. Snowflake의 강력한 데이터 플랫폼과 Streamlit의 간편한 앱 개발 환경을 활용해 여러분만의 데이터 애플리케이션을 직접 만들어보세요!

한국에서 최.초.로. 진행되는 이번 Snowflake x Streamlit 해커톤은 데이터 사이언티스트, 엔지니어, 앱 개발자 및 두 솔루션에 관심이 있는 모두에게 열려있는 무대입니다. 이번 해커톤의 결승 이벤트에서는 Streamlit의 공동 창업자 겸 COO이자 Snowflake 제품 총괄 디렉터 Amanda Kelly가 함께합니다.

데이터로 비즈니스 임팩트를 만들 아이디어가 반짝이시는 분들의 많은 참여와 관심을 부탁드립니다!

    • DS – 리테일 매장 방문 예측 및 마켓 데이터 연관성 분석
      • 과거 3년간의 방문 데이터를 분석하여 향후 방문 트렌드를 예측
      • 매장 방문 데이터와 마켓 데이터 (매출 혹은 주가) 와의 연관 도출 
    • BI – 매장 방문자 및 경쟁 분석
      • 매장 방문자의 주거지 및 근무지 분포 시각화를 통한 매장 커버리지 분석
      • 지역별 경쟁 환경 분석을 통한 마케팅 전략 수립
      • 유동인구 및 인구 데이터를 활용해 최적의 신규 매장 입지 선정

Requirements

  • 과제 제출물 요건 (클릭시 펼침)

    해커톤 신청 접수를 해주신 분들에 한해 별도 이메일로 아래 과제 제출 방법 및 제출 링크를 보내드릴 예정입니다. 제출해주신 코드와 자료, 영상을 바탕으로 1차 심사를 진행하여 결선에 진출할 Top 3를 선정합니다.

    • 1) 개발하신 소스 코드를 zip 파일로 제출
    • 2) 발표 자료 (프레젠테이션 파일 / pdf 혹은 ppt, keynote 파일)
      • 발표 10분 + 질의응답 3분 내외로 진행됩니다.
      • 최종 Top 3 선정 시, 결선에서 발표하실 자료입니다.
    • 3) 데모녹화 동영상 (길이는 10분 미만)
      • 코드, 예측 모델, streamlit application 사용 방법 설명이 포함되어야 합니다.
      • 솔루션 및 인사이트/추천 사항을 다루어야 하며, 동영상은 총 10분을 초과하지 않아야 합니다.

    * 과제 2)번과 3)번의 경우, 본 템플릿(링크)을 사용하여 제출해 주시기 바랍니다. 과제 제출에 대한 상세 안내는 신청 접수를 하신 분들께 다시 한번 별도의 이메일로 공유드릴 예정입니다.

    * 과제 제출 기간 마감인 4월 27일 내에 버그 및 오류 수정으로 여러번 제출은 가능하며, 제출 기간 내에  가장 마지막에 제출한 제출물로 심사가 진행됩니다. (이전에 낸 제출물은 평가에 포함되지 않습니다.)

  • 심사 기준 (클릭시 펼침)

    – 참가자는 제시된 문제 정의 (Problem Statement) 또는 자유 주제를 선택하여 평가됩니다. 비즈니스 임팩트를 창출하는 것이 중요합니다.

    – 소스 코드는 Python, Java, Scala로 작성이 가능합니다.

    – 접근 방식은 명확하고 논리적이어야 합니다.

    – Snowflake 기능을 사용 시 가산점을 받을 수 있습니다. (예: Snowpark, Snowflake Marketplace and Streamlit). 

    – 파트너 솔루션을 자유롭게 활용할 수 있습니다. 사용 가능한 파트너 예시: AWS, H2O.ai, Dataiku, Datarobot, 등. 참가자는 Snowflake 30일 체험 계정을 직접 생성해야 합니다. Snowflake는 타 기술 솔루션에 대한 라이선스를 제공하지 않습니다. Snowflake 체험판이 만료되었다면 새 계정을 만들어야 합니다. 

    – 무료 체험판은 30일동안 사용 가능하며, 만료 후 같은 이메일로 다시 가입은 가능하지만 기존에 사용하던 코드 등이 연결되지는 않으니 만료 전에 미리 백업 및 조치를 취하시기 바랍니다.

    – API, SDK를 포함한 오픈 소스 라이브러리 활용이 허용됩니다.

    – Snowflake Marketplace(링크) 를 활용한 데이터 보강 (data enrichment) 시 추가점수가 부여됩니다.

    – 통찰력 및 스토리텔링의 독창성을 평가합니다

    – 추가 교육이 필요한 참가자는 https://quickstarts.snowflake.com/ 을 참고해주시기 바랍니다.

  • Snowflake x Streamlit 해커톤 참가 규칙

    1) 본 해커톤 참가는 개인로만 신청이 가능합니다. (팀 단위로는 지원 불가)

    2) 본 해커톤 참가자는 www.signup.snowflake.com 에서 스노우플레이크 체험 계정을 직접 생성해야 합니다. AWS 서울 리전이나 US West(Oregon)을 사용해주세요. ( Azure/GCP는 사용불가 )

    3) 참가 신청을 완료하시면, 등록 확인 메일을 통해 스노우플레이크 플랫폼에서 작업하는 방법을 익힐 수 있도록 스트림릿 핸즈온랩 웨비나 녹화본 (링크)를 제공합니다.

    4) 제출 마감일은 2025년 4월 27일(일) 23:59 입니다.

    5) 신청 기간 내(~4월 27일)에 오류/버그 수정 이슈로 여러번 제출 가능하지만, 심사는 가장 마지막에 제출한 제출물로만 진행됩니다.

    6) 참가자는 개별적으로 솔루션을 개발하고 온라인으로 작업한 후 결과를 제출합니다.

    7) 참가 가능 여부를 확인하려면 아래 명시된 Terms and conditions 에 명시된 자격 기준을 꼭 참고하시기 바랍니다.

    8) 심사위원단은 참가자의 발표, 애플리케이션, 동영상을 혁신성, 참여도 및 창의성을 기준으로 평가합니다.

    9) 참가 기준에 적합하지 않거나 이용 규칙을 준수하지 않은 경우에는 주최측에 의해 참가 신청이 취소될 수 있습니다.

    SNOWFLAKE X STREAMLIT 2025 HACKATHON OFFICIAL RULES 

    (* 이용 약관은 4월 7일까지 한국어로 업데이트 됩니다.)

    The following rules, terms and conditions (“Official Rules”) govern your entry to and participation in the Snowflake Hackathon (“Contest”). Your participation and submission of a contest entry constitutes your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, these Official Rules. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THE CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

    SPONSOR MAY MAKE CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME IF IT BECOMES NECESSARY FOR SPONSOR TO DO SO. SPONSOR WILL ENDEAVOR TO PROVIDE AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE OF ANY SUCH CHANGES ON THE CONTEST WEBSITE OR IN OTHER APPROPRIATE MESSAGING. 

    1. SPONSOR. The sponsor of the Contest is Snowflake Inc. (address for various offices published at https://www.snowflake.com/legal/snowflake-contracting-entities/), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Sponsor”), with event support from Megazone Cloud (“Prize Provider”), and Loplat, DataKnows, and SPH (collectively “Data Providers”).
    2. DATES AND TIMELINE. Snowflake’s computer will be the Contest’s official clock, and all times are provided in Korea Standard Time (KST). The Contest begins on March 26, 2025 at 6 p.m., and submissions will close on April 27, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (the “Contest Period”). The Contest Period consists of the submission period followed by two (2) rounds of judging, as further described below. Before the start of each period or round, the Sponsor reserves the right to postpone or modify the start or end date of that period or round.

    2.1 Submission Period. The “Submission Period” begins on April 7, 2025 at 12 a.m. and ends on April 27, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Please see Section 4 (How to Enter) for further information on the submission process. During the Submission period, Registrants should submit an Idea as described more fully on the Hackathon website.  Those selected will be notified they are eligible to submit a Prototype, which also must be completed by the May 2, 2025 deadline. 

    2.2 Judging Period. The “Judging Period” begins on April 28, 2025 at 12 a.m. and ends upon conclusion of Snowflake Kr User Group Meetup #8, scheduled for May 14, 2025. Please see Section 10 (Criteria and Selection) for further information on each round of the Contest.

    (a) Round 1. Round 1 of the Judging Period begins on April 28, 2025 at 12 a.m., and ends on May 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.  Following their submission of a Prototype within the Contest period (but no later than May 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.), the top three (3) finalists will be selected and announced no later than May 14, 2025 by 11:59 PM.

    (b) Round 2. Round 2 of the Judging Period will include the top 3 finalists selected following Round 1 presenting their Prototype live at Snowflake KR User Group Meetup #8 (either in-person or virtually) on May 14, 2025. The top 3 winners will be announced following the live presentations, and corresponding prizes will be distributed.

    1. ELIGIBILITY.

    3.1 Eligible Individuals. The Contest is only open to individuals (each, a “Registrant”) who (1) is a resident of South Korea, (2) works toward solving a problem statement as described more fully at https://www.snowflake.com/snowflake-streamlit-hackathon-korea/ and (2) is not otherwise ineligible as described in 3.2 below.

    3.2 Ineligible Persons. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Contest: individuals who (i) are currently employed by Snowflake, or any entity that may be acquired by Snowflake during the contest period; (ii) are immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, or children) or household members of any of the employees listed in Section 3.2; (iii) are employed by the Contest Administrator, (iv) are a Contest Judge (defined in Section 9 below) or immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, or children) or household members of a Contest Judge; (iv) are current employees of an entity in which Sponsor has invested and holds an ownership interest; (v) are professionally involved in the Administration of the Contest; (vi) are on any restricted or prohibited party list maintained by the U.S. Departments of Commerce, State and the Treasury; or (viii) are not residents of, or are domiciled outside of, Korea.

    All Finalists are subject to eligibility verification before any prizes are awarded. See Section 7 (Verification) for further information.

    All Registrants are responsible for ensuring they are in compliance with any employment or other contract to which they are a party, including, for example, eligibility to participate in promotions and acceptance of prize awards.

    1. HOW TO ENTER.

    4.1 To enter the Contest, you can access the online submission form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1sWuOcUFtIXtFdstHNnH90pPv-5FkVRT9zLYPf4muNNY/closedform (“Contest Site”) during the Submission Period and follow all posted instructions to submit an idea. This information, and the submission materials (including the App (defined in Section 5.1 below)) (the “Entry”) must meet the requirements as described below and include elements reflected in Section 5 (Entry Requirements).

    4.2 LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER REGISTRANT. Each Registrant is permitted one (1) entry into the Contest. Registrants may submit multiple entries, but only the last version submitted will be entered. Any prior entries will be disqualified and will not be considered. Entries are void if they are in whole or part illegible, incomplete, damaged, altered, counterfeit, obtained through fraud, or late. All Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry, and a potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder for that email address. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email address for the domain and must be the Registrant.

    1. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS. 

    5.1 Entry. In addition to the requirements in Section 4.1 above, a Registrant’s Entry must include the following: (a) a complete profile, including name, email address, phone number, and country of the Registrant; and (b) the Idea or Prototype (collectively the “Submission”). Once the Submission Period has ended, the Entry cannot be changed or updated. Entries submitted outside of the Submission Period are invalid and will not be considered. Incomplete Entries also are invalid and will not be considered. Entries cannot be acknowledged and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or failures in submission of any Entry or in the Registrant not maintaining accurate contact information during the Submission Period.

    5.2 Language. All Entries, including any oral presentations, must be in Korean.

    5.3 Snowflake Account. To facilitate the development of the App, Sponsor is providing a free trial account to any Registrant participating in the Contest. Registrants must access the sign-up link available on the Contest Site and will be directed to accept the Self-Service Trial Terms: Self-Service On Demand Terms of Service (available for review at https://www.snowflake.com/legal/). Each trial account is provided with a $400 credit.

    1. Snowflake will identify pre-selected data sets to utilize during the Contest.  It is the responsibility of each Registrant to ensure they have obtained any necessary rights to use the data that they include as part of their submission.  To the extent there are license requirements associated with any data sets utilized as part of a submission, it is the Registrant’s responsibility to ensure they have complied with all license requirements. 
    2. Registrants must list all data sets that they utilized in the creation of or used with their Prototype as part of their Entry. For any datasets that were not identified by Snowflake, Registrant must also include a link or copy of the applicable license. 
    1. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRIES. Each Registrant is entirely responsible for the Entry and submission materials, in whole or in part. By submitting an Entry and participating in the Contest, the Registrant represents and warrants that the Entry and submission materials: (a) do not contain any defamatory, offensive or otherwise inappropriate materials; (b) are original, not copied, in whole or in part, and are exclusively owned and gratuitously provided without any restriction or limitation on use; (c) do not infringe or misappropriate of any intellectual property rights or confidential or proprietary information of any third party; (d) do not contain any confidential or proprietary information of any entity or person; (e) do not contain any material that violates any privacy or publicity right of any person; (f) do not reflect any duty of attribution, or any compensation obligation; (g) do not contain any content that would violate any law, statute, ordinance, rule or regulation, or any agreement with another person or entity; (h) do not contain software viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, bots, or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt damage, impact, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware in any way; and (i) are not misleading, and must be true and accurate. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to remove the Entry, submission materials, and presentation content from the Contest Site, in whole or in part, for any violation of these Official Rules.  
    2. VERIFICATION. During the Contest Period, the Sponsor, the Administrator, its agents and/or the Contest Judges will evaluate the Entry for the Registrant’s compliance with these Official Rules and satisfaction of the minimum requirements for the Entry to be judged in the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entry that it ascertains at any time does not meet the requirements for the Entry and these Official Rules during or after the Contest Period. Sponsor further reserves the right before awarding any prize, to have the Registrant execute a declaration (or affidavit) of compliance and agreement with these Official Rules, compliance with all applicable Laws, and/or confirmation of eligibility, a publicity release, and a copyright license in connection with any round of the Contest.
    3. RIGHTS.

    8.1 Intellectual Property of Registrant. Subject to the licenses described below, any applicable intellectual property rights to an Entry (including the submission materials and presentation content) will be owned by and remain with the Registrant.

    8.2 License Grant. By entering the Contest, Registrant grants to the Sponsor and any other third parties acting on the Sponsor’s behalf, a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to display publicly and use the Entry (including the submission materials) for promotional and any other purposes in perpetuity without further consideration or payment of any type. This license includes, but is not limited to, posting, or linking to the Entry on Sponsor’s and partners’ websites and applications, including the Contest Site, and displaying and promoting the Entry in any other media, worldwide, including publication of the Registrant’s name, App description, images, video URL, and website URL.

    8.3 Representation and Warranty. Each Registrant represents and warrants that the Sponsor and its partners are free to use the Entry in the manner described above, as provided or as modified by the Sponsor, without obtaining permission or license from any third party and without any compensation to the Registrant.

    1. JUDGING. Eligible Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by the Sponsor for each round of the Contest (the “Contest Judges”) as further specified in Section 10 (Criteria and Selection). Contest Judges will include employees of the Sponsor, the Data Providers, and/or external industry specialists. Judging will take place in two rounds in accordance with Section 10 below. All decisions of the Contest Judges and Sponsor are final, non-appealable, and binding, and in their sole discretion applying the criteria to the Entries. By participating in the Contest, each Registrant agrees it has no right to request, and Sponsor has no obligation to disclose the assessment of its Entry at any time for any round of the Contest or in the entirety of the Contest.
    2. CRITERIA AND SELECTION. All eligible Entries will be reviewed by Contest Judges to select up to three (3) finalists (each, a “Finalist”). Contest Judges will score Entries according to the following criteria: (1) Registrant defines an Idea and, if selected, creates a Prototype responsive to a designated theme; (2) Registrant utilizes programming languages Python, Java, and/or Scala; and (3) Registrants can build any type of Prototype, but special consideration will be given to those that incorporate Snowpark, Worksheets, Streamlit, and/or Snowflake Marketplace (collectively, “Judging Criteria”). Following the selection of the top 3 finalists,  they will present their Prototypes live at Snowflake KR User Group Meetup #8 (which will be held either in-person or virtually) on May 14, 2025. The top 3 winners will be announced following the live presentations.
    3. PRIZES. 

    11.1  Prize Package. The three Winners whose Entries are selected as the top three (3) highest scoring Entries by the Judges will each receive a prize as follows:

    1. 1st Prize – 2024 Microsoft Surface Pro 13 Snapdragon (valued at approximately 1,956,000 KRW)
    2. 2nd Prize – PlayStation PS5 Slim Standard Dual sense Bundle (valued at approximately 820,800 KRW)
    3. 3rd Prize – Apple Watch SE 44mm (valued at approximately 439,000 KRW)

    11.2 Forfeiture of Prize. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim their prize, the prize may be forfeited.

    11.3 Non-Transferable. The prize is not transferable or assignable to any other person or entity. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be substituted except in the sole discretion of Sponsor. If the actual value of a prize is less than the stated approximate retail value, the difference will not be awarded. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Registrants are solely responsible for any and all taxes that apply to prizes.

    1. PRIVACY. Sponsor may collect personal data from and about a Registrant online, including without limitation, through the Entry and submission materials in accordance with the Privacy Policy applicable to the Contest Site, and as otherwise described in these Official Rules. By participating in the Contest, the Registrant expressly agrees to the collection and use of personal information submitted, consistent with the Privacy Policy applicable to the Contest Site, in connection with the activities of Sponsor in promoting and administering the Contest, and in regards to any activities of the Sponsor in connection with its business related to the Contest.
    2. GENERAL CONDITIONS.  

    By entering the Contest, Registrant agrees that these Official Rules are the controlling rules for the Contest and Registrant agrees to be bound exclusively by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor.

    Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries; lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions; transmission problems; technical failures; garbled transmissions; damage to user’s software or transmission devices; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise that may occur in connection with the Contest.

    If for any reason, the Contest is not capable of proceeding as planned for reasons outside the control of Sponsor which, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, may impact the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest (or any portion thereof), Sponsor reserves the right, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest (or any portion thereof) and, in that event, the Sponsor will have no further obligation to any Registrant.

    Sponsor also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Registrant if they are found to be: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, or any website maintained or operated by Sponsor; (b) using any robotic, macro, automatic programmed or like type of entry methods; (c) violating these Official Rules; or (d) engaging in unethical, inappropriate or disruptive action or conduct, or taking any action inconsistent with these Official Rules, the fairness of the Contest and the reputation of Snowflake.

    Any failure to enforce any terms of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision or bar Sponsor from enforcing that term subsequently in connection with the Contest. The headings in these Official Rules are inserted for convenience and identification only, and are not intended to describe, interpret, define or limit the scope or intent of these Official Rules for the Contest. By submitting an Entry, each Registrant waives any right it may have to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules or any advantage or any impact on interpretation of these Official Rules that may arise from any such ambiguity claim. These Official Rules will be construed by Sponsor in its sole discretion, its decisions will be binding and final.

    1. WARRANTIES. Without limiting any other terms of these Official Rules, by participating in the Contest, each Registrant represents and warrants that its participation will comply with these Official Rules and that it has sufficient rights in the Entry (including the related submission materials) to authorize the publication and dissemination thereof as contemplated in these Official Rules. No Registrant will seek the assistance of any officer, director, employee of Snowflake apart from these Official Rules and the Contest to attempt to gain any advantage.
    2. PUBLICITY AND LICENSE GRANT. Except where prohibited by law, by submitting an Entry, each Registrant expressly grants Sponsor a license and consent to use, in its sole discretion, the name, country location, photo or likeness, and/or the background of the Registrant, and the Entry and submission materials, in whole or in part, in connection with the Contest, in any form of media, now known or hereafter created, worldwide, without further permission, payment, or any other consideration. 
    3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF SPONSOR. You agree that nothing in these Official Rules or in any other statements made in connection with the Contest, grants to any Registrant the right or license to use any intellectual property of Sponsor. Registrant will not use the name, trademarks, service marks, logos, any copyrighted material or any other intellectual property of Sponsor (collectively, “Sponsor IP”) without the express written consent of Sponsor, which Sponsor may withhold in their sole discretion. Further, Registrant agrees that it will not use as its own, any service mark, service name, trade name, trademark, design or logo(s) confusingly similar to those part of or otherwise embodied in the Sponsor IP. Sponsor retain all rights, including media rights, to promote the Contest and the background and story of the Contest, including any Registrant’s participation in the Contest in its sole discretion. 
    4. NO OBLIGATION OF PROGRAM ENTITIES RE SUBMISSION MATERIALS. Each Registrant acknowledges that third parties may submit information to Sponsor separate from the Contest that may contain information, ideas, concepts, and approaches similar to, or the same as, those any Registrant submits or submitted to the Contest, and that Sponsor may already be working on information, ideas, concepts, and approaches similar to, or the same as, those the Registrant submits or submitted to the Contest. By entering, each Registrant acknowledges and agrees that the Sponsor’s actions with respect to another entry or work of its own or of any third party, even if similar to, or the same as, the Registrant’s Entry, will not create any liability of any kind to Sponsor or others involved in the Contest. Each Registrant also acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Contest, receipt of a prize and/or designation as a Finalist or Winner does not create any obligation on the part of the Sponsor to promote, use in any way, or to take any further action regarding the Entry or submission materials of the Registrant or the Registrant’s involvement in the Contest apart from these Official Rules.
    5. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

    18.1 BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, EACH REGISTRANT AGREES AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (A) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST, INCLUDING AS APPLICABLE ANY PRIZE AWARD, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (B) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, SETTLEMENTS, AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO REASONABLE, ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED $1,000 USD, BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (C) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY REGISTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHT TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, AND/OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET THIRD PARTY EXPENSES ACTUALLY INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED $1,000 USD, OR ANY RIGHT TO HAVE ANY DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (D) EACH REGISTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF.

    18.2 Nothing in the Official Rules will exclude or limit the liability of either party to the other for: death or personal injury arising out of negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

    1. ADDITIONAL TERMS.

    19.1 Each Registrant assumes any and all risks associated with the posting and use of the Entry, submission materials, travel and activities arising from or in connection with the Contest, and expressly waives and releases any and all claims or causes of action against the Sponsor, their officers, employees, representatives, and agents for any and all injury and damage of any nature whatsoever (whether existing or thereafter, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, and whether foreseeable or not), arising from the Entry, submission materials and presentation content, including but not limited to the ideas submitted to the Contest, and any travel or other activities arising from or in connection with the Contest.

    19.2 This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. The Registrants release Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter from all liability in relation to the Contest.

    1. INDEMNIFICATION. YOU AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE SPONSOR (AND CONTEST JUDGES, AND ANY OTHER PERSONS ADMINISTERING THE CONTEST) AND EACH OF THEIR EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, ATTORNEYS, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, MANAGERS, AND SHAREHOLDERS (THE “INDEMNIFIED PARTIES”) HARMLESS FROM ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, COST, OR EXPENSE (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND COSTS) INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH ANY THIRD-PARTY CLAIM, DEMAND, OR ACTION (“CLAIM”) BROUGHT OR ASSERTED AGAINST ANY OF THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES, ALLEGING FACTS OR CIRCUMSTANCES THAT WOULD CONSTITUTE A BREACH OF ANY PROVISION OF THE THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE REGISTRANT OR ARISING FROM, RELATED TO, OR CONNECTED WITH YOUR ENTRY, SUBMISSION MATERIALS, AND PARTICIPATION IN ANY WAY IN ANY ASPECT OF THE CONTEST, INCLUDING RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZE. IF YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE INDEMNIFICATION PURSUANT TO THIS PROVISION, SPONSOR MAY, IN THE SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION, CONTROL THE DISPOSITION OF ANY CLAIM AT YOUR SOLE COST AND EXPENSE. WITHOUT LIMITATION OF THE FOREGOING, YOU MAY NOT SETTLE, COMPROMISE, OR IN ANY OTHER MANNER DISPOSE OF ANY CLAIM WITHOUT THE SPONSOR’S EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT.
    2. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTIONS. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules and/or the rights and obligations of each Registrant, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor, Contest Judges and anyone involved in administering the Contest will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Delaware without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any other country or jurisdiction. Any litigation arising out of, in connection with, or relating to these Official Rules must be filed and pursued exclusively in the State or Federal courts in Wilmington, Delaware, and each Registrant participating in the Contest, and any related person or entity, consents to the jurisdiction of and venue in the state or federal courts in Wilmington, Delaware.
    3. WINNER’S LIST. For a list of prize winners, visit the Contest Site following the conclusion of the Contest.
