During the event, Colleen Kapase, Snowflake’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Partners and Alliances, announced exciting new investments in the SPN program and was joined by Snowflake’s CMO Denise Persson and Snowflake’s CRO Chris Degnan, who discussed how important partners are to the Data Cloud and where the opportunities exist for Snowflake partners to elevate the future.

Colleen leads Snowflake’s worldwide partner and alliances organization, spanning the go-to-market (strategy, programs & field teams) for Systems Integrators, Technology, Cloud, and Powered by Snowflake partnerships. In her tenure at Snowflake, she was integral in the creation of the Snowflake Partner Network, and has since grown the SPN to thousands of partners. Since 2019, the partner contribution has grown over 3x toward the company number. Ms. Kapase consistently collaborates with the Snowflake executive team on partner growth and execution plans for the company. Her expertise and leadership team participation contributed to three companies, Citrix, VMware, and Snowflake having highly successful IPOs and ten-fold billion-dollar revenue growth.

Denise serves as Snowflake’s Chief Marketing Officer and has been with the company since 2016. Denise oversees worldwide marketing initiatives, and has played a pivotal role in driving growth and scaling Snowflake’s revenue from $1 million to over $2 billion.

Denise has over 25 years of technology marketing experience at high-growth companies. Prior to joining Snowflake, she served as CMO for Apigee, an API platform company that went public in 2015 and Google acquired in 2016. She began her career at collaboration software company Genesys, where she built and led a global marketing organization. Denise also helped lead Genesys through its expansion to become a successful IPO and acquired company. Denise holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University, and holds an MBA from Georgetown University.

Chris has over 15 years of enterprise technology sales experience. Most recently, Chris served as the Vice President of the Western Region at Aveksa, where he helped grow the business 250% year-over-year. Before Aveksa, Chris spent eight years at EMC and managed a team responsible for 175 select accounts. Prior to EMC, Chris worked in enterprise sales at Informatica and Covalent Technologies (acquired by VMware). He holds a BA from the University of Delaware.
