Snowflake Computing to Sponsor, Present and Exhibit at DBTA Data Summit 2015

SAN MATEO, Calif. – May 7, 2015 – Snowflake Computing, the cloud data warehousing company, today announced it will sponsor, present and exhibit at DBTA Data Summit 2015. Focused on the future of data management and the strategies needed to succeed in today’s increasingly data-drive world, the conference will be held May 11-13 at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York.

Snowflake will showcase and provide live demonstrations of the Snowflake Elastic Data Warehouse™, a completely new SQL data warehouse built from the ground up as a cloud service, in the Data Solutions Showcase. Visitors will learn more about Snowflake’s patent-pending architecture and cloud data warehousing from Snowflake experts.

In addition, Snowflake will be presenting in two sessions at the Data Summit. Snowflake will be providing an introduction to the elastic data warehouse on Tuesday, May 12 at 12 p.m. in Sutton South, second floor.

The second session, “Moving to the Cloud: Challenges and Opportunities,” will focus on the opportunities and challenges in leveraging the cloud for data warehousing. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, May 13 at 3 p.m. in Sutton South, second floor.
