5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – Check-in & Happy Hour (food & drinks will be provided)

6:30 pm – 7:00 pm – Presentation from Doximity

Doximity has built an in-house data synchronization pipeline to provide consistent data replication from a large number of Aurora MySQL data stores into Snowflake. In this presentation, the motivation behind the in-house solution will be explored through a brief history of failed attempts at providing consistent data synchronization. Also, the data situation at Doximity will be discussed to provide the context around the particular challenges that we face. The remainder of the presentation will introduce the current in-house solution from high-level as well as low-level perspectives. We hope this presentation will offer an exciting window into the data challenges at Doximity and how the unique features of Snowflake are being leveraged to solve them.
