We’re thrilled to invite you to the Snowflake PowerUp Hackathon, a half-day in-person event designed to empower startups like yours to enhance your applications with Snowflake’s AI and ML capabilities like Snowflake Cortex.

You’ll have the opportunity to bring your own use case and get expert advice and hands-on mentorship from Snowflake Solution Engineers.

What You’ll Learn
Through guided labs, you’ll gain practical skills to leverage Snowflake’s AI/ML features. You’ll select from:

  • Use Case 1: Customer Churn Prediction
    • Train a model to predict customer churn using Snowflake ML.
    • Monitor model performance and detect data drift with ML Observability.
    • Deploy and manage models using the Snowflake Model Registry.
  • Use Case 2: Extracting Insights from Unstructured Data
    • Process customer review text using Cortex LLM functions.
    • Generate actionable insights like sentiment scores, topic classifications, responses, and translations.
    • Integrate text analysis into your app for enhanced customer understanding.
  • Use Case 3: Conversational Analytics with Cortex Analyst
    • Define a semantic model to enable natural language queries on structured sales data.
    • Use Cortex Analyst to convert questions (e.g., “What are the total sales last month?”) into SQL queries.
    • Build a conversational interface in a Streamlit app for self-service analytics.

Bring Your Own Use Case: Bring your own use case (e.g., predictive maintenance, fraud detection) using Snowflake AI/ML tools, which we’ll discuss upfront to maximise the hackathon’s outcome.
