FROM DATA TO A WORKING AI SOLUTION — IN HALF A DAY

Join b.telligent and Snowflake for an exclusive half-day event where enterprise teams and data leaders go from raw data to a working solution — hands-on, guided, and live. This hackathon brings together data engineers, developers, software architects, analysts and business leaders ready to solve real-world Data and AI challenges, supported throughout the morning by technical experts from both b.telligent and Snowflake.

Spend the morning building something you can actually take back to your team: an agent over your own data, a pipeline that turns documents into structured insight, or a natural-language interface over your business metrics.

No pre-formed team or pre-built idea required. Whether you register as a complete team with a specific business challenge or attend solo to collaborate with industry peers, there is a clear track for you.

Capacity: Seats are limited — register early to secure your spot.

Cost: Free of charge

Target Audience: Data Engineers, Software Architects, BI & Analytics Professionals, and Enterprise AI Strategy Leads.

AGENDA AT A GLANCE
08:30 – 09:00 Welcome & Registration
09:00 – 09:15  Opening: Overview, Scope & Event Goals
09:15 – 09:45  Hackathon Prep: Environment Setup, Task Selection & Team Matchmaking
09:45 – 12:30  Hackathon: Build with Snowflake & SE Mentorship (incl. break)
12:30 – 13:00  Wrap-Up: Live Demos, Audience Voting
13:00 – 14:00  Lunch & Networking
CHOOSE YOUR TRACK

You control how you spend the build session based on your goals and readiness:

  • Guided Technical Blueprints Follow step-by-step, structured paths led by experts to master Snowflake’s AI, agentic and developer tooling from the ground up — Cortex AI functions, Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, and the Cortex Code CLI.
  • The Data & AI Playground Team up, explore curated public datasets, and build a custom AI prototype or dashboard around a key enterprise use case.
  • Bring Your Own Data (BYOD) Challenge (Recommended) Bring a real-world business case and an anonymized sample dataset from your company to build an enterprise prototype side-by-side with Snowflake and b.telligent architects.
WHAT YOU CAN BUILD (HACKATHON PROJECT INSPIRATIONS)

Adapt one of these enterprise-grade blueprints or build your own solution:

  • The Multi-Modal Feedback Processor Turn unstructured data into structured insights. Build an automated pipeline that ingests customer reviews, audio voicemails and documents, then extracts sentiment, categories and actionable metadata directly in SQL using Cortex AI functions such as AI_SENTIMENT, AI_CLASSIFY and AI_EXTRACT.
  • Self-Service Business Q&A Eliminate reporting bottlenecks. Define a semantic view over a complex business schema and deploy an agent that lets colleagues ask plain-English questions (“What were our top-selling product categories last quarter?”) and get precise SQL plus a grounded answer back — with a chart alongside it.
  • The Multi-Task Enterprise Agent Create a secure, governed AI assistant in Snowflake CoWork. Combine structured metrics from a semantic view with unstructured support tickets or reports via Cortex Search, so the agent can explain a number and cite the narrative behind it — then draft the summary.
  • AI-Powered Data Engineering Accelerate pipeline development. Use Cortex Code to build, debug and deploy dbt models, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and spin up interactive Streamlit apps using natural-language commands.

FAQ

Do I need to come with a team? No. Register individually, as a partial group, or as a full team (2–5 people). For individual attendees, we run a dedicated team-matchmaking session during the prep block to connect you with peers who share similar goals or technical focus.

Do I need to bring a pre-built idea or company data? Not at all. You can follow structured technical blueprints, use our pre-staged datasets to experiment, or bring your own anonymized company dataset to tackle a live business use case.

What skill level is expected? This event is designed for professionals working in data, software engineering, architecture, or business intelligence. Familiarity with SQL or Python is helpful, but prior experience with Snowflake is not required — the prep block onboards you to the environment, and the Guided Blueprints track assumes no prior Cortex knowledge.

Do I need to bring data that is confidential? No — and please don’t. BYOD teams must work with anonymized or sample data only. All data stays inside your own Snowflake environment for the duration of the event.

What should I bring? Your laptop and charger. If you choose the BYOD track, have your sample or anonymized dataset (CSV, JSON or Parquet) accessible on your machine so you can upload it to your sandbox.
