The industry still moves fund reference and distribution data the way it did twenty years ago: point to point, with every firm building and paying to rebuild the same pipes. This session shows how far the shared-standard alternative has come, with members who have already put it into production. The common ground gets solved once, and each firm keeps its edge for where it competes. We’ll conclude with a drinks reception from 5.30-7pm.

Why attend

  • Replace bespoke feeds with higher quality data aligned to a standard designed by IDEN members. See how members retired point-to-point file exchanges in favour of modern and secure data integrations
  • Get to trusted Sales MI. Understand the data-quality steps that turn directional numbers into fit-for-purpose reporting the business will act on.
  • Ready the data for data science. See how a clean, standardised data foundation makes downstream analytics possible rather than aspirational and how semantic enrichment drives native AI integration.
  • Understand data confidentiality. Strict separation means each issuer sees only their own investors’ data, and access is reciprocal, never a sale of records.

Agenda

Scaling from POC to Production. The theme of this session is how IDEN data exchange initiatives – prioritised by IDEN members – have been rapidaly scaled from business ideas and POCs to Production and the resulting business value. It is designed as an interactive, practical session that includes resources and how to guides to enable other IDEN members to benefit from the new ways of exchanging data.

RLAM and two of the largest asset / wealth managers globally, alongside Aiviq and Snowflake, have taken this from concept into production.

  • The IDEN Data Standard – what’s new in v1.07
  • Daily Platform Sales MI – a case study showing how the POC shown at the March 11 IDEN winter session, is now running in Production for some IDEN members – at daily cadence with MPS data and data-quality KPIs appended.
  • Direct share of fund reference data – A new model of bi-lateral sharing of Fund Reference Data from Fund partners to Investment platforms – a case study showing the design shown at the March 11 IDEN winter session now scaled to production: case study presented by RLAM & one of the largest global asset managers
  • Pooling client data: following the clear survey results on this topic at the March 11 IDEN winter session, this is a facilitated discussion to ratify the business case and design of a POC to pool EMEA and APAC distributor and client data including organisation hierarchies.
  • Semantic standards: IDEN’s data and semantic dictionaries are aligning with the Apache Ossie standard (formerly Open Semantic Interchange, OSI), the Snowflake-led open semantics standard for interoperability of data products and agentic tooling.
  • What IDEN prioritises next – member-governed and decided in the room.
