CARTO: CDRC – New American Atlas (USA, Census Tracts)
Geodemographic classification (market segmentation) for the United States of America.
This is the first open geodemographic classification for the United States and was developed in collaboration between Seth Spielman (University of Colorado, Boulder) and Alex Singleton (University of Liverpool). Unlike proprietary geodemographics, all methods, data inputs and software used to create this classification are open source. This classification was created for those who cannot afford a commercially produced market segmentation or those who value transparency and reproducibility in their analyses.
