Managed Warehouse

What is a Managed Warehouse?

Data Warehousing as a Service (DWaaS) is an outsourcing model in which an outside vendor configures and manages the hardware and software resources required for a data warehouse. Customers, in turn, provide the data and pay for a managed warehouse. DWaaS is often used by companies that have limited resources or capital budget to store and manage large amounts of data.
