Still debating if you should enter the Snowflake Startup Challenge? Perhaps you’ve registered but haven’t quite finalized your application? Or maybe you meant to register and it got forgotten in the flurry of biz dev demands, holidays, year-end reports, engineering sprints, calls with potential investors, and the billion other things that startup leadership teams deal with?
Well, it’s time to rally your team for a final push: the deadline for submitting your Startup Challenge entry is March 1, 2022. That’s 20 short days away!
Entering the Snowflake Startup Challenge is worth your valuable time. The three finalists will have the opportunity to be considered for an investment (totaling up to $1 million across the three finalists), but it’s also a chance to gain global marketing exposure, be recognized for your innovation, and get up-close access to industry experts.
To help you over the final hurdles, here’s a mini FAQ with some of the most common Challenge-related entry questions.
Who can enter?
You must be an early-stage startup that has raised no more than $5 million in cash funding and is building apps and products on Snowflake. It’s a global contest, so whether you’re in Dubai, Dublin, or Detroit, we want to hear from you! Check out the specific eligibility requirements in the official rules.

Why should I build using Snowflake?
The Snowflake Data Cloud gives startups a powerful foundation for building data applications. We’ve removed traditional obstacles to working with data, like managing complex infrastructure or inaccessible, siloed data sources, so you can focus on building apps and growing your business. With Snowflake, developers can work with the tools they prefer, data can be shared easily and securely, and you can speed up time to market.
Hundreds of companies have already adopted Snowflake’s platform to build data-intensive applications across many use cases, such as customer 360, IoT, machine learning, security, and embedded analytics.
